Join us for the second installment of our workshop, where we develop a novel algorithmic trading strategy and run it in a live environment. If you missed the first workshop you can watch the replay here here.

Responding to demand, we've timed this event to be at a more Asia friendly time: 7pm Hong Kong / Singapore time. That should still be a reasonable lunch-break in the UK and Europe (12/1pm), and breakfast in east coast US (7am). As always if you can't make the workshop, we'll email a link to the replay following the event.

We'll be using basic ideas from mathematics and technical analysis (Python libraries scipy and talib) - the emphasis will be on the process of developing a strategy end-to-end. The upcoming Algorithmic Trading Course will cover more advanced topics and techniques in quantitative trading.

These workshops are part of a larger series, and should appeal to anyone who has an interest in developing automated trading strategies. It would be helpful if you have programming experience, otherwise some aspects of the workshop will be harder to follow.

Disclaimer: this talk won't be covering topics in low-latency trading. The focus instead will be on the more quantitative aspects of trading and developing strategies.

Documentation, code links, and the video replay will be provided via email following the event. If this sounds interesting, sign up and we look forward to welcoming you. As with previous events there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
